Before real estate, Al competed as a professional race car driver in the Toyota Atlantics and Indy Lights series (2004–2008), including multiple starts at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and a pole position at Michigan in 2004. He is part of the Unser racing family (son of Al Unser Jr., grandson of Al Unser Sr.). Those experiences give him calm, quick decision‑making and a comfort with high‑stakes negotiations.
Outside work he’s a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (certified instructor) and teaches diving locally; he also volunteers teaching adaptive scuba through his sister’s foundation. When he’s not negotiating deals or showing homes, you’ll find him backpacking New Mexico’s state parks with his dog or diving the Blue Hole in Santa Rosa.
